As you already know that iOS 5 is going to be launched in a few days alongside the new iPhone 4S. In our previous posts we have covered many major new changes and features of the upcoming build of Apple’s mobile operating system, but still there are some hidden features which we don’t know about. As it is a difficult and sad week for Apple, we are going to introduce you with a new feature coming in the new iOS.
You might have know about main key features coming in iOS 5, like Find My Friends and Siri Personal Assistant, but it is also very important to discuss somewhat smaller and also key new features which are going to be introduced in the launch of iOS 5. As you know iOS 5 will be coming with 200 new features and changes, among these changes, one key feature is AirPort managing facility. This feature enables users to control many of its functions within the iOS. Currently, this AirPort facility can only be controlled through PC or Mac but the new iOS 5 GM build has a little app named as AirPort Utility which enables users to manage networks. Users will be able to download the app from Apple’s App store, it is not going to come as a native app in the iOS but it will be available at the App Store for those who really want to use the facility.
Apple’s main AirPort Extreme router’s lite version is expected to be updated soon in the future and it will be named as AirPort Express. The device which will cost less than a hundred dollars has Ethernet, USB and audio jack in it and it is really a cost effective way to access your network by just a tiny device. So, after a long time we are going to see a refreshed device right after the release of iOS 5 and iPhone 4S.
