iPhone 4S Untethered Jailbreak
Apple did not get that much appreciation which it was expecting on the launch of iPhone 4S on October 4th media event. Many users and critics were disappointed by the release of iPhone 4 look alike and not the completely redesigned iPhone 5. There were also many people who actually appreciated the newly added features in the iPhone 4S. And that’s why when device’s pre orders started, Apple made a new record of receiving more than a million pre orders for iPhone 4S in just a single day.
So, as you know those million people are expecting to be get their hands on their device impatiently but here we have another news for you. A jailbreak community member named ion1c states that the untethered jailbreak for iOS 5 is already prepared.

Ion1c, whose real name is Stefan Esser is a well known hack who was successfully able to discover the loop whole in Apple’s iOS 4.3.1 firmware and the same loop hole worked in 4.3.2 and 4.3.3 and even patched in iOS 4.3.3 too. Many hackers claimed that they have found the untethered jailbreak loop hole for iOS 4.3.4 but it won’t work due to the upcoming release of iOS 5. But as of today, ion1c shook the jailbreak community by revealing that they have covered the iOS 5 untethered jailbreak and it is going to be released soon.
iOS 5 was announced in WWDC 2011 and they have released 8 betas to the developers since then and on October 4th media event, Apple officially announced the iOS 5 release date which is 12th October and the same day iOS 5 GM was seeded to the developers. iOS 5 claims to have more than 200 new features and changes which mainly include, iCloud, over the air update, AirPlay and a revamped version of Notification Center.
So, it will be a dream come true to all of the users who are expecting to get their hands on the iPhone 4S in a few days. Ion1c did not name the hackers team which is going to release this untethered jailbreak but still it seems like they have defeated the A5 boot rom successfully.
