iPhone 5 Specifications
As you know, Apple is holding a press event on 4th October to launch the iPhone 5. So, in just few days we are going to witness the most speculated smartphone of the year. There have been many rumors about the technical specifications of the device but there is no proof to confirm them. These speculated specs are very amazing and we wish these were authentic.
We have now compiled list of most expected features for this 5th generation smartphone.
This obviously is going to be IOS 5.0, this is the same OS Apple had announced in their WWDC conference they held June 6, 2011. This is state of art OS, which is already being used in Ipad 2. For iPhone 5, this OS is supposed to have around 200 plus fresh features, it will also have new and better iMessage, Notification System and more.
iMessage is probably one of the sleekest feature, which is specifically designed to compete Blackberry messenger. iMessage users will be able to chat with iPod, iPad and iPhone users.
Dual Core Processor:
Many other vendors have been successfully using dual core processors. Apple is going to use A5 Dual core processor for iPhone 5, it is the same processor which is being used in iPad 2, since its dual core and is bundled with ARM Cortex-A9 CPU and topped up with dual core PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU, it means massive power and with IOS 5.0, the combination of hardware and software will make the device work flawlessly.
iPhone 5 is going to boast iCloud services, iCloud is one of the most exciting and fun feature by Apple, as it will allow users to access music, pictures and other stuff remotely from their mobile phones and or personal computers, wirelessly.
The basic concept behind this whole idea is, once iPhone 5 is setup, it will be sync with iCloud services, which will then allow users to upload and store all their pictures, apps, doc files, videos and more directly into their iCloud account, the old conventional way was to store all this data into phone memory and that used to hog the memory. There also some speculations that Apple will be releasing Mini iPhone, however, it is now confirmed that iPhone 4S will be coming to market.
The big step up in this department as well. Right now, its pretty usual for phones to have atleast 8 mega pixel cameras, iPhone 5 has also been updated to 8 MP camera from previously 5 MP of iPhone 4. We shall publish real snapshots once the wwdc event executes on October 4. One of the other expected feature is Dual-LED flash camera, auto focus, geo-tagging and will certainly have a solid secondary camera.
Ram and Memory
The hardware along with softwares have massively been upgraded, one of the key feature is going to be the 1 GB ram, which is a big jump from 512 mb ram in their previous flag ship handset, this amount of memory will certainly improve the functionality of this device.
As far as memory is concerned, phone will come in several classifications, such as 64 GB, 32 GB and 16 GB internal memory.
As far as battery is concerned, we know for the fact that it won’t be a disappointment as Apple has track record of improving the functionality of battery with their every next release, iPhone 4 was considerably better than iPhone 3G. Full battery details, with stand by and talk time will soon be added.
Display and Screen Resolutions:
Design is going to be pretty, which is almost certain. It is going to be slimmer, but will most likely have wider and bigger screen size, it will also have a key feature assistant. Following is a mock up video of iPhone 5, which is designed after combining all rumors circulating around, iPhone 5 is also compared with previous iPhones. Dimensions as expected are about 4.33″ x 2.36″ and .27″ in width.
iPhone 5 is powered up with ability to run on extremely fast 4G network as well as LTE, which stands for Long Term Evolution, it is a current standard adopted by mobile networks. 4G is extremely faster when compared to previous 3G, future iPhone 5G will run on even faster technology.
Multiple Mobie Network Carriers:
Unlike last time, latest iPhone will have multiple network carriers, this will give choice to users to go to their favourite network, such as Sprint, AT&T of Tmobile, Orange and Vodafone etc.
