It has been reported previous day that JailbreakMe.com has been sold to some unknown person but now another recent news have been revealed which states that it has been transferred again to its previous owner. As it was previously reported via tweet by MuscleNerd that the site is not safe similarly another recent tweet from Saurik himself says that it is safe again for all the users to access it. The new owner of the website is Saurik (Jay Freeman) and he has posted a tweet saying that JailbreakME.com is now in my hands and feels free to use it. You are completely safe now. A malicious hack was expected to be done by iPhone dev team while it was under that unknown person.
The Tweet of Saurik states:
“…and tonight , jailbreakme.com was transferred to me (convenient, as I host the site ;P); so, going forward, we no longer need to worry!
”
According so some stat we have come to know that jailbreakme.com has been the most popular website of all for the jailbreaking tools as it works excellently with device iOS 4.3.3 or maybe lower.
This website was basically developed by Comex which has been hired by Apple for his internship. During his internship a question was raised that Comex may tell the secrets of iPhone dev team to the Apple but Comex clearly stated in his tweet that he is not going to share his ideas and thoughts or any other secret with the Apple and after the release of iPhone 4S and iOS 5 GM Comex was proved right because if he told anything to them then they will have that feature in their device to stop the jailbreaking, but they actually are not having that.
When Apple has released its iOS 5 GM it was announced by muscle nerd that it can also be jailbroken with the help of Redsnow 0.9.9 which is already released and was designed for iOS 5 betas. The dev has also announced that Apple is going to release iOS final version very soon, and they are expecting to release their jailbreaking in software form.
