Legendary Steve Jobs died yesterday, it was a big loss to the technology world. Many of his fans who admired his contributions to our world mourned the loss and showed their respects by placing flowers, candles, notes and apples outside the Apple Store in New York, Fifth Avenue.
As you can see in the images posted below, Apple fans paid their respects to the visionary founder of Apple, by placing flowers notes and apples on the front steps of the retail store. The fifth avenue store works as a East cost hub for Apple and is one of the most heavily trafficked store in the world. From Wednesday night, when Apple announced the death of its legendary leader, people started to gather outside the store. It continued to the Thursday morning with the addition of media members who covered the story and Jobs’ fan continued to come and pay their respects continuously.
As you can see in the images, there are construction glass walls at the front of the store. This construction has been underway since June. Apple has plans to replace the previous design of 90 glass panes with adding 15 larger ones and it will cost over $6.7 million. The store will look cleaner and simpler. This original cube was designed by Jobs himself and he even paid for the project and himself and was the owner of the structure. May he rest in peace.
